About Allie Peace Ministries

Our Organization

Allie Peace Ministries is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Missouri City, Texas, dedicated to compassionate community outreach and support.  We serve individuals in need through Bible studies in nursing homes and transitional living facilities, and through outreach efforts that provide food, clothing and personal hygiene essentials to people experiencing  homelessness.  We also champion Autism and Special Needs awareness, working to foster understanding, inclusion, and support for individuals and families.  In addition, our Sisters with a Story ministry provides a safe, uplifting space for women to share their experiences and receive wisdom, encouragement, and guidance as they pursue healing and growth.

Our History

Allie Peace Ministries began in 2012 as a faith-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded by Betty Roberts, inspired by the quiet but powerful example of her mother, Allie Peace.  For years, Allie worked a full-time job while raising her children as a single parent, yet she still made time to visit local nursing homes.  During each visit, she offered a brief Bible study -- always accompanied by a simple gift of a bottle of water and a banana - to remind residents that they were seen, valued, and loved.  Later in life, Allie herself became a resident in a nursing home.  Moved to honor her mother's heart for service, Betty began the ministry in the very place where Allie spent her final years.  What started as one woman's personal mission of compassion grew into a formal outreach dedicated to carrying forward her legacy of faith, dignity, and care for the community.
